7 Data LoggerThe CMS includes a built-in data logger, which adds the facility tolog and timestamp test results locally within an internal memory,even when not connected to a computer.• Tests that are logged, and when, are determined by the log settings(see section 12.6).• Each log entry is time-stamped and contains the CMS serialnumber, so that it can be identified later.• The CMS memory has space for around 4000 log entries.
