At Pan<strong>to</strong>ne, Inc., the most widely used and recognized color standards<br />

system in the world, color forecasts are developed. Each season,<br />

Pan<strong>to</strong>ne surveys the designers of New York <strong>Fashion</strong> Week <strong>to</strong> collect feedback<br />

on prominent collection colors, color inspiration, and color philosophy.<br />

This information is used <strong>to</strong> create the Pan<strong>to</strong>ne <strong>Fashion</strong> Color Report,<br />

which serves as a reference <strong>to</strong>ol throughout the year for fashion enthusiasts,<br />

reporters, and retailers.<br />

The trendsetters play a critical role in the fashion process. Identifying<br />

trendsetting groups while observing their style and taste selections<br />

gives forecasters important clues about upcoming ideas. From<br />

celebrities <strong>to</strong> contemporary artists and fashion leaders, the styles of<br />

these “fashionistas” are observed and imitated. In fi lm, music, and celebrity<br />
