he has been a technological pioneer, developing software solutions <strong>to</strong> the<br />

trend forecasting, product development, merchandising, and design cycle.<br />

Kai Chow—creative direc<strong>to</strong>r, Doneger Creative Services<br />

Kai leads a team of designers and analysts <strong>to</strong> provide clients with color,<br />

lifestyle, fabric, and print forecasts as well as retail, runway, trade show,<br />

and streetwear reports. From 1983 <strong>to</strong> 2006, he was the creative force behind<br />

Here & There, a fashion-forecasting firm acquired by The Doneger<br />

Group. Kai’s prior experience includes designing apparel and accessories<br />

in Paris, London, and Hong Kong for an international roster of clients.<br />

Lori Holliday Banks—direc<strong>to</strong>r of research and analytics, Tobe Report,<br />

a division of The Doneger Group<br />

Lori has more than thirty years of retail and consulting experience in the<br />

fashion industry. She joined the Tobe Report in 1980 as a fashion edi<strong>to</strong>r. During<br />

this time she has advised merchants, fashion direc<strong>to</strong>rs, and <strong>to</strong>p management,<br />

helping them identify consumer growth opportunities. Lori’s business<br />

acumen, her reality-based, in-depth knowledge of the better apparel business,<br />

and her keen eye are widely recognized throughout the apparel industry.<br />

Frank Iovino—president of Miroglio Textiles USA<br />

Frank began his career in the textile industry forty years ago as a salesperson<br />

for a heat transfer supplier. In 1982, he joined Miroglio Textiles, a<br />

leading Italian textile manufacturer, <strong>to</strong> spearhead the heat transfer division<br />

of the company. As a result of his division’s success, Frank became president<br />

of the entire American division of Miroglio Textiles, where he grew U.S.<br />

operations from $6 million <strong>to</strong> $50 million. Recently he has also begun selling<br />

Miroglio’s Italian collection in the United States while designing and<br />

styling a collection in Italy and the United States <strong>to</strong> be produced in China.
