It hasn't been long but I can't seem to forget winter's
winds chilling us to our bones when we stepped out to face the
day with pale or white faces, either because of the weather or
our own personal problems. The onset of spring and the
warmer weather seems to bring more happiness into our lives
and makes me more optimistic about the future when the
morning begins with bright sunlight.
Now, the days are knocking on our doors with the
fragrance of spring and the promise of prosperity. Let us enjoy
the coming days of economic revival along with a fresh and
glowing environment. Let us excel in our professions, be
energetic and motivated in whatever we do and have a positive
attitude towards life. Let us set examples for those who need
inspiration and motivation to gear up their lives and be
transformers of negative energies to positive in someone's life.
Recently, I came across an incidence of professional
neglect that cost someone's life. My purpose in mentioning this
is not to pinpoint someone, but to create a reason to tell folks to
not drag our personal problems into our professional lives. We
should perfect our professional duties and not be ignorant and
unprofessional in what we do.
I learned at an early age that if a job is worth doing, it's
worth doing well. If we can't deliver one hundred per cent, then
let's not do it at all. That's the only way we can keep freshness
and prosperity around us.
Let's enjoy the spring along with what we do.
