Wild, Wild West El Carmelo's 35th Annual Auction Saturday, March ...

Dear El Carmelo families and staff,
Whoa, Nelly! Didja see them auction items over yonder? I can't say
that I know how to choose among all the great things to bid on. And
these here victuals look mighty tasty - I reckon we'll be eatin’ well at
the 2012 El Carmelo PTA Auction! And the folk in their finest westernstyle
Sunday best are having more fun than a pig in mud!
I want to thank Amy Love again for the amazing work that she and her
team have put into making the auction a rip-roarin’ party, an important
fundraiser and a community-building activity for El Carmelo. More than
just a chance to support our kids' education, we have this party to
celebrate friendships and our common interest in all aspects of our
wonderful school. As I spent time with the team that has dedicated so
many hours to preparing the auction, I could tell that they've been
having a good time working together.
Congratulations, El Carmelo, for combining support of children's
education (in the form of supplies, field trips, activities, and extra
teaching materials, among other things) with a great party and strong
community! Y'all done yourselves proud once again.
