L106 Fund-a-Need for El Carmelo: MP Room Makeover
The El Carmelo MP Room sees constant use every day: lunch
is served, children have PE there (especially when the weather
outside isn't its usual "Bay Area Perfect)", assemblies are held,
plays are presented, Kinders are promoted to 1st grade, Book
Fairs happen, all-school events happen in the evenings, and
various parent and community groups (Scouts, for example)
meet. Your generous donations will help upgrade the MP
Room to make it a better place for all of its myriad uses:
projects proposed include new chairs to provide comfortable
safe seating, a new sound system to facilitate communication
when the room hosts large groups, improved lighting and
upgrades to the PTA kitchen equipment. The PTA and the
principal will work together to budget the money raised to
make the MP Room an even better place for children to learn,
and children and families to gather.
