Access <strong>for</strong> Work on or Near High Voltage ElectricalApparatus• Agrees to the continuous and closesupervision by a nominated authorised tester.9.3.4 Responsibilities <strong>of</strong> Tester in Charge9.3.4.1 The tester in charge shall ensure that thosemembers <strong>of</strong> the <strong>work</strong> party who will be makingcontact with <strong>electrical</strong> apparatus under test andany <strong>of</strong> the test connections or approaching withinthe prescribed safe approach distances during thecurrency <strong>of</strong> the sanction <strong>for</strong> testing, sign on thesanction <strong>for</strong> testing or a Complementary Sanction<strong>for</strong> Testing.9.3.4.2 The tester in charge shall ensure that themembers <strong>of</strong> the <strong>work</strong> party are suitablyexperienced and trained <strong>for</strong> the <strong>work</strong> required <strong>of</strong>them and that adequate precautions are taken <strong>for</strong>the <strong>safety</strong> <strong>of</strong> all persons.9.3.5 Complementary Sanctions <strong>for</strong> Testing –Responsibilities <strong>of</strong> Tester Responsible atRemote LocationThe Tester Responsible at Remote Location shallassume the same responsibilities as specified <strong>for</strong>the Tester in Charge and shall function underdirection <strong>of</strong> the latter.Page 92 <strong>of</strong> 148 Blue Book – December 2005
