Access <strong>for</strong> Work on or Near High Voltage ElectricalApparatus• in the case <strong>of</strong> a rackable circuit breaker orrackable voltage trans<strong>for</strong>mer, the <strong>electrical</strong>apparatus is removed from its rack or cubicleposition and placed in a designatedmaintenance position;• the person is <strong>work</strong>ing under the terms <strong>of</strong> asanction <strong>for</strong> testing on that <strong>electrical</strong>apparatus;• the person is changing high voltage clampontype fuse links at single wire earth returndistribution substations in accordance withOrganisational procedures;• the <strong>electrical</strong> apparatus has been declaredas out-<strong>of</strong>-commission in accordance withclause 9.4;• the person is per<strong>for</strong>ming live <strong>work</strong> inaccordance with Organisational procedures;• the person is <strong>work</strong>ing in accordance with therequirements <strong>of</strong> a person who has receivedan appropriate permit to <strong>work</strong> adjacent tonet<strong>work</strong> assets, authority (Refer to Section12); or• the person is <strong>work</strong>ing near high voltagePage 78 <strong>of</strong> 148 Blue Book – December 2005
