A Place For Our Students to Shine... - Christian Brothers High School

Christian Brothers alumni have
135 years of special memories,
friendship and tradition to celebrate.
And celebrate they did as approximately
500 alumni, family and friends attended
the 41st annual Alumni Dinner crab
feed on February 5.
The evening’s program included
the awarding of Golden Diplomas
to the Class of ’61 at a pre-dinner
celebration. The Honorary Alumna
Award was presented to Suzie
(Franzoia)Rozewski for years of
dedicated service. Throughout the
years, Rozewski has donated her time
and talent as a graphic designer to help
promote alumni functions including
the Wine, Beer and Food Extravaganza,
alumni dinners and the annual golf
tournament. Most recently, she shared
her expertise and time with Bill Iliff
’76, with the design and layout of his
recently published book on CB’s history,
Let Us Remember. She is a passionate
and tireless advocate of the school and
mother of a freshman, Daniel.
The Honorary Diploma Award
was presented to Tim Deary. Deary
attended CB in the 1970’s during his
freshman and sophomore years. He
then decided to follow older brother,
Mike, to Kennedy High School. A
decision he says he regretted almost
immediately, Deary maintained his
friendships at CB and has been
an ardent supporter of the school
through family-owned business, Nor
Cal Beverage. Deary and the family
continue to be major supporters of
the school through events like the
Alumni Dinner, the Wine Beer &
Food Extravaganza and the annual
fundraising auction.
The prestigious Alumni Service
Award, exemplifying the Association’s
highest standard of giving back to
Christian Brothers, was presented
to alumnus Danny Delgado ’79
for his many years of service and
dedication. As a member of the Alumni
Association, Delgado was part of the
committee to launch the alumni golf

tournament and the Wine, Beer & Food
Extravaganza. He is a regular attendee
at alumni events, a favorite teacher to
countless students, an innovator in the
classroom and a champion of all things
Lasallian.
The Alumni Association would like
to thank the many volunteers who made
the evening so special, especially the
Class of ’82 for their hard work with
serving and clean-up.
