CEU Class Sign Up<br />
You Must Sign Up Online for CEU Classes!<br />
Visit www.beautyclassicshow.biz and from the Attendee Menu select “Continuing Education Classes”.<br />
Please read carefully before you sign up for classes.<br />
1. You must purchase a Professional Two-Day Registration in order to<br />
sign up for continuing education classes.<br />
2. <strong>To</strong> schedule classes, all attendees must visit our website at<br />
www.beautyclassicshow.biz and select “Continuing Education<br />
Classes” (Please note: This is the ONLY way to confirm your class<br />
schedule in advance.)<br />
3. Please note that classes cannot be scheduled back-to-back.<br />
4. Each Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic class includes 1 continuing<br />
education hour, with a maximum of 4 classes on Sunday and 4 classes<br />
on Monday.<br />
5. Please schedule your classes using the codes located throughout this<br />
show preview.<br />

Registration<br />
Who is allowed to attend the Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic?<br />
<strong>The</strong> Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic is only open to beauty industry professionals<br />
and students. All attendees may be required to present a photo ID along with<br />
one of the following credentials:<br />
� Salon or Spa business license denoting Salon ownership<br />
� Cosmetology School ID card<br />
� Cosmetology, Nail Technician, Esthetician, Massage <strong>The</strong>rapist license<br />
� Sally’s Professional Card (red)<br />
� Cosmetology School business or state license<br />
� Distributor Store Card<br />

Am I allowed to bring my children to the show?<br />
<strong>The</strong> Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic gives the professional an opportunity to<br />
experience and learn. Due to insurance liabilities and also with respect to your<br />
professional peers, children of any age will not be permitted on the show floors<br />
or into the educational components.<br />
What should I do if I lose my show registration?<br />
You will be required to purchase another show registration to gain entry into the<br />
show.<br />
Are refunds available if I purchase my registration but am not able to<br />
attend the show?<br />
All registration sales are final, no refunds will be issued. Your registration may<br />
be exchanged for the Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic’s next event by calling<br />
800-335-7469.<br />

Am I allowed to smoke inside the Convention Center?<br />
No, in compliance with the Columbus Clean Air Act, smoking inside is prohibited<br />
by the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Designated smoking areas<br />
outside the building will be marked.<br />

Class Registration Policies<br />
6. <strong>The</strong>re are NO guarantees on class availability. Seating is limited.<br />
7. <strong>Beauty</strong> Industry Professionals MUST stay for the duration of the class<br />
in order to receive a Continuing Education certificate.<br />
8. Credit may only be awarded once for each class. Attending two classes<br />
with the same title does not constitute receiving double CEUs.<br />
9. Students cannot sign up for classes, but may attend on an available<br />
seating basis.<br />
10. Classes are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve<br />
basis. Sign up early to confirm your seat.<br />
11. Don’t forget to print out your class schedule after you sign up<br />
online.<br />
Am I able to bring my camera?<br />
No photography or videotaping of the Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic or its Educational<br />
Program is allowed without prior permission from <strong>Show</strong> Management.<br />
Is there a public paging system?<br />
No, if attending the show with friends in the industry, be sure to set a specific<br />
time and place to meet.<br />
Planning <strong>To</strong>ols<br />
Do I need to pre-register for classes?<br />
Classes are included with your show registration and are available on a firstcome,<br />
first-serve basis. Workshops with separate fees are limited by the number<br />
of seats in the room.<br />
How can I make travel arrangements to attend the show?<br />
<strong>To</strong> make travel arrangements, please contact the hotels listed on page 28 and<br />
don’t forget to mention that you are with the Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic.<br />

Will there be a location for me to hold my purchases?<br />
Yes, have someone hold your products. Visit our Product Check location at the<br />
show. No strollers or pull carts allowed on the show floor.<br />
What if I need special assistance at the show?<br />
<strong>To</strong> ensure your participation in the Mid-American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic is enjoyable and<br />

What am I required to bring with me?<br />
Bring plenty of business cards and your beauty industry credentials. <strong>The</strong> Mid-<br />
American <strong>Beauty</strong> Classic show is a time for networking and contact information<br />
should always be available. <strong>To</strong> purchase products, you may be asked to verify that<br />
you are a beauty industry professional or student of the beauty industry.<br />
What should I wear?<br />
Clothing should be comfortable, yet professional. We suggest wearing business<br />
casual clothing, but pack some comfortable pieces if you plan to visit area attractions.<br />
