MAYOR'S ANNUAL REPORT. 377has not opened up the same the said Vernon ShellRoad Company shall bear any expense of procuringthe title to the said streets by the city of Savannahand the opening up of the same.Sec. 4. Be it further ordained, That the tenderingto the Mayor and Aldermen of the city of Savannahby the Vernon Shell Road Company of a good andsufficient bond in the amount herein named, withinthe time named, shall be construed as an acceptanceby the said company of all the conditions, stipulationsand obligations of this ordinance.The further consideration which binds the Mayorand Aldermen of the city of Savannah, as a corporation,to the above consent and agreement during theperiod of sixty (60J days allowed to the said VernonShell Road Company for acceptance is the sum ofone dollar paid by the said company to the Mayorand Aldermen of the city of Savannah.Sec. 5. Be it further ordained, That all ordinancesand parts of ordinances in conflict with thisordinance are hereby repealed.Ordinance passed February 20th, 1901.To Permit the Southern Pine Company to Constructa Track Across Wheaton Street.An ordinance to permit the Southern Pine Companyto construct a track across Wheaton street at apoint one hundred and sixteen (116) feet west of thetrack which now crosses said street and runs fromthe Plant System yards into Aimar & Co.'s planingmill yard, and about two hundred and seventy (270)feet west of the eastern track which now crosses saidstreet.
