Norwood southof the corporate limits of the city of Savannah, abuttingon Forty-second street and between Florencestreet extended and Montgomery street extended, asmay be needed for the widening and extension ofForty-second street, at a price not to exceed ten (10)cents per square foot, to be paid for by notes of thecity—one, two and three years.Sec. 2. Be it further ordained, That all ordinancesand parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinanceare hereby repealed.Ordinance passed July 24th, 1901.An ordinance to authorize the purchase for streetsand public parks land south of Forty-second street,between the extended lines of West Broad and Florencestreets, and between the extended lines of Florencestreet and the Ogeechee road.Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermenof the city of Savannah, in council assembled,That the Committee on Streets and Lanes be, and it ishereby authorized to negotiate for and purchase, forstreets and public parks, land south of Forty-secondstreet, between the extended lines of West Broad andFlorence streets, at a price not to exceed five (5) centsper square foot, and of land between Florence streetextended and the Ogeechee road extended at a pricenot to exceed one and one-half (li) cents per squarefoot The said purchases are to be made subject tothe investigation of title by the City Attorney, andthe purchase money is to be covered by notes of thecity of Savannah, due four (4) and five (5) years after
