358 MAYOR'S ANNUAL REPORT.An ordinance to authorize the purchase for streetsof the land herein mentioned outside of the corporatelimits of the city of Savannah.Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermenof the city of Savannah in council assembled,That the committee of the council of the city of Savannahknown as the Committee on Open ing Streetsis hereby authorized and empowered to bargain forand purchase, if the titles be satisfactory to the CityAttorney, so much of farm lot number two (2),Huck's t\rthing, Percival ward, situated in Chathamcounty, Georgia, south of the corporate limits of thecity of Savannah, as may be needed for the extensionof West Broad, Burroughs and Florence streetsthrough the same, and as may be needed for theopening of streets east and west through the same,or so much thereof as may be needed for the openingor extension of any one or more of such streetsthrough the same, at a price not to exceed five (5)cents per square foot, to be paid for by notes of thecity—one, two and three years.Sec. 5.
