MAYOR'S ANNDAL REPORT. 367An ordinance to provide for the roadways, sidewalksand grass plats of Thirty-fourth, Thirty-fifthand Thirty-sixth streets, in the city of Savannah, betweenHabersham and Montgomery streets, underthe terms and provisions of an ordinance of the cityof Savannah, passed April 5, 1899, and entitled "Anordinance to secure uniformity in the sidewalks inthe city of Savannah mentioned in this ordinance, toprovide for the width of sidewalks and roadways,the material to be used for the sidewalks, and forother purposes."Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor atod Aldermenof the city of Savannah, in council assembled,That the roadways between the curbs of Thirtyfourth,Thirty-fifth and Thirty-sixth streets, betweenHabersham and Montgomery streets, in the city ofSavannah, shall be thirty-two feet in width, the sidewalkson either side thereof, if of artificial stone,shall be five (5) feet in width, and In addition thereshall be a grass plat on either side of nine feet; if ofbrick shall be nine feet in width and in additionthere shall be a grass plat of five (5) feet on eitherside.Sec. 2. Be it further ordained, That all the provisionsof the above entitled ordinance, passed April5, 1899, shall apply to the roadways, sidewalks andgrass plats of the said portions of Thirty-fourth,Thirty-fifth and Thirty-sixth streets, between Habershamand Montgomery streets.Sec. 3. Be it further ordained, That all ordinancesand parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinanceare hereby repealed.Ordinance passed Oct. 16th, 1-901.
