348 MAYOR'S ANNUAL BBPOBT.bled, That the statement and assessment roll preparedand submitted to council by the Director ofPublic Works for the city of Savannah and the Committeeon Streets and Lanes for said city, under anordinance passed Dec. 26, 1900, and entitled "An ordinancefor the improvement of the portions of St.Julian and Montgomery streets herein specified underthe terms and provisions of an act of the Legislatureof Georgia, Oct. 1 1887," be, and they arehereby, declared to be the official statement and assessmentroll of the said improvement under the saidordinance, the same being entitled "Statement andAssessment Roll for Improving St.'Julian Street."A statement showing the cost of the improvement ofSt. Julian street, in the city of Savannah, from thewest side of Jefferson street to the east side of Franklinsquare and on so much of Montgomery street asbounds the said square on the east. As made underan ordinance of the city of Savannah, passed Dec.26. 1900; and an assessment roll showing as to twothirdsof this cost, how it is apportioned among theseveral abutting parcels, and giving the sums chargeableto each parcel, with the names of the owners."And the Clerk of Council of the city of Savannah ishereby directed to mark the said statement and assessmentroll filed as of this date and to enter thesame on the minutes of council for due authenticationand preservation.Sec. 2. Be it further ordained, That the Treasurerof the city of Savannah is hereby directed to makeout and send to the property owners, including therailroad company, a bill for the respective amountsdue by them, as provided for by the said ordinance.
