MAYOR'S ANNUAL REPORT. 345assessment rolls of the said improvement underthe said ordinance, one of said statement and. assessmentrolls being entitled "A statement showingthe cost of the improvement of Thirty-eighth streetin the city of Savannah, from the east side of Barnardstreet tothe east side of Jefferson street, as made underan ordinance of the city of Savannah passed Jan. 23,1901; and an assessment roll showing as to twothirdsof the cost, how it is apportioned among theseveral abutting parcels, including the street intersections,and giving the sums chargeable to each parcel,With the names of the owners, and the other of saidstatements and assessment rolls being entitled "Astatement showing the cost of the improvement ofThirty-eighth street in the city of Savannah, fromthe west side of Barnard street to the west side ofBull street, as made under an ordinance of the cityof Savannah passed Jan. 23,1901; and an assessmentroll showing as to two-thirds of this cost, how it isapportioned among the several abutting parcels, includingthe street intersections, and giving the sumschargeable to each parcel, with the names of theowners." And the Clerk of Council of the city ofSavannah is hereby directed to mark the said statementsand assessment rolls filed as of this date andto enter the same on the minutes of council for dueauthentication and preservation.Sec. 2. Be it further ordained, That the Treasurerof the city of Savannah is hereby directed to makeout and send to the property owners, including therailroad company, a bill for the respective amountsdue by them, as provided for by the said ordinance.Should the said bills be not paid, then it shall be the
