An average per day of5,658,660 gallons, as against 2,132,568,950 gallonsfor the year 1900, showing an annual decrease of 67,-157,941 gallons for the year 1901.The total pumpage at Old Works for the year hasbeen 241,770.720 gallons, making a grand total forthe year of 2,307,181,729 gallons.The total pumpage for 1900 was 2,200,460,918gallons, comparing this with the year 1901, showsan increase for this year of 106,720,811 gallons.Coal Consumed.The total amount 'of Coal consumed during thepast year has been 1,511 tons.
