CERES Software Bulletin 95-01Software Bulletin Procedure, May 5, 19951.0 Purpose:We are announcing a series of CERES Software Bulletins. The intent of thesebulletins is to improve the communication of information to the CERES DMT andScience participants in the development of CERES production software.2.0 Originator/DMO Approval:Ed Howerton (C.E.Howerton@larc.nasa.gov)/Jim Kibler(J.F.Kibler@larc.nasa.gov).3.0 Description:A variety of topics may be addressed in these software bulletins. We are currentlyworking on bulletins for Fortran 90 KIND number parameters, standard routineprologue guidelines and script, and CERES wide mathematical and physicalconstants. We encourage all CERES team members to contribute softwaredevelopment guidelines, hints, etc. CERES Software Bulletins may be proposed byany member of the CERES team. The procedure for doing so is to draft the bulletinand send it via email to Jim Kibler with cc to Ed Howerton. The draft can be in textform or in FrameMaker form. After Jim or a designated person on his staff hasreviewed and approved the bulletin, he will notify Ed to publish and distribute. Edor a designated member of his staff will assign the next sequence number andprepare and distribute the bulletin. The bulletin will be distributed via email to theaddressees listed below with a text copy of the bulletin embedded in the message anda FrameMaker format copy attached to the mail message. A PostScript version ofthe bulletin will be posted and available from the CERES WWW Home Page.
