1. To demonstrate examination technique, normal fi ndings and variants of spinal canal sonography.
2. To review sonographic features of open and closed spinal dysraphism and correlate these with clinical
fi ndings, embryology and MRI.
3. To demonstrate acquired diseases of the spinal canal and cord.
4. To convincingly demonstrate the diagnostic accuracy of spinal sonography in neonates and young infants.
