292Delavnica 4 / Workshop 4mlad<strong>in</strong>o o vrednotah <strong>prostor</strong>a <strong>in</strong> o pomenu<strong>prostor</strong>skega načrtovanja <strong>za</strong> trajnostni razvoj.Pomembno je, da mladi kot bodoči uporabniki <strong>in</strong>upravljavci <strong>prostor</strong>a spoznajo, da je <strong>prostor</strong>omejena dobr<strong>in</strong>a <strong>in</strong> da so vrednote <strong>prostor</strong>apomembna komponenta kvalitetnega, zdravega<strong>in</strong> varnega bivanja v nekem <strong>prostor</strong>u. Izrednegapomena je tudi spoznanje, da je prav vsak odnas lahko oz. mora biti akter v procesu<strong>prostor</strong>skega načrtovanja, <strong>za</strong>to je potrebnonajširšo javnost pripraviti na sodelovanje vprocesu sprejemanja odločitev v sistemu<strong>prostor</strong>skega načrtovanja.Za <strong>za</strong>gotavljanje trajnostnega <strong>prostor</strong>skegarazvoja je bistveno, da vsi prebivalcisistematično v okviru rednega izobraževanjaspoznajo vseb<strong>in</strong>e, pove<strong>za</strong>ne s trajnostnim<strong>prostor</strong>skim razvojem. Da bi dosegli ta namen,je potrebno celoten osnovnošolski <strong>in</strong>srednješolski kurikulum smiselno preplesti sprimernimi vseb<strong>in</strong>ami glede na predmet <strong>in</strong>starostno stopnjo učencev <strong>in</strong> dijakov, ki bodoaktualizirale pouk <strong>in</strong> hkrati o<strong>za</strong>veščale.Končni cilj projekta je na osnovi vseh izsledkov<strong>in</strong> raziskav pripraviti strokovno utemeljenpredlog <strong>za</strong> vključitev izbranih vseb<strong>in</strong> o vrednotah<strong>prostor</strong>a <strong>in</strong> pomenu <strong>prostor</strong>skega načrtovanja všolski kurikulum.Vrednote <strong>prostor</strong>aV <strong>prostor</strong>u se odvijajo različne dejavnosti, ki solahko komplementarne, velikokrat pa se <strong>za</strong>radištevilnih <strong>in</strong>teresov v <strong>prostor</strong>u prekrivajo.Usklajevanje dejavnosti v <strong>prostor</strong>u rešujemo spomočjo stroke – <strong>prostor</strong>skega načrtovanja – narazličnih ravneh. Pri kakršnih koli posegih v<strong>prostor</strong> pa je pomembno <strong>za</strong>vedanje, da je<strong>prostor</strong> omejena dobr<strong>in</strong>a, s katero je potrebnoravnati gospodarno <strong>in</strong> predvsem trajnostno, čehočemo slediti načelom def<strong>in</strong>icije ZdruženihNarodov o trajnostnem razvoju, ki mora<strong>za</strong>gotavljati <strong>za</strong>dovoljevanje potreb današnjihgeneracij, ne da bi ogrožali možnosti prihodnjihgeneracij, da <strong>za</strong>dovoljijo svoje potrebe.Za doseganje ciljev trajnostnega <strong>prostor</strong>skegarazvoja je potrebno def<strong>in</strong>irati vrednote <strong>prostor</strong>av pove<strong>za</strong>vi z drugimi človeškimi vrednotami(zdravje, <strong>za</strong>poslitev, druž<strong>in</strong>a...).Vrednota je načelo oz. kriterij, po katerempripisujemo ali odrekamo vrednost stvarem.Purpose and objectives of a project R.A.V.E.SpaceThe ma<strong>in</strong> purpose of the project R.A.V.E. Spaceis to raise the awareness of primary and secondaryschool pupils about the values of space andthe importance of spatial plann<strong>in</strong>g for susta<strong>in</strong>abledevelopment. It is significant that youngpeople as future users and managers of spacerecognize that the space is a limited good andvalues of space are an important component ofquality, healthy and save residence <strong>in</strong> certa<strong>in</strong>space. Each and every one has to play a role <strong>in</strong>a process of spatial plann<strong>in</strong>g, which is also a remarkablerecognition and the wider publicshould be prepared for a cooperation <strong>in</strong> a processof decision mak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the system of spatialplann<strong>in</strong>g.It is essential that all <strong>in</strong>habitants become awareof the content connected with susta<strong>in</strong>able spatialdevelopment systematically <strong>in</strong> a frameworkof regular educational process. In order toachieve this purpose, the whole primary andsecondary school curricula should be reasonable<strong>in</strong>tertw<strong>in</strong>e with an appropriate content regard<strong>in</strong>gthe subject and age level of pupils whichwill lead <strong>in</strong>to actuali<strong>za</strong>tion of lessons and will riseawareness at the same time.The f<strong>in</strong>al objective of the project is to prepare anexpert proposal for <strong>in</strong>corporation of selectedcontent about the values of space and the importanceof spatial plann<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to school curriculaon the basis of the results of research andresults of a R.A.V.E Space project.Values of SpaceThere are different activities occurr<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> space,some may be complementary but more often <strong>in</strong>contradiction because of the high number of<strong>in</strong>terests <strong>in</strong> the space. Spatial development ofreconciliation is under the competence of profession– spatial plann<strong>in</strong>g – on different levels.Any k<strong>in</strong>d of <strong>in</strong>tervention <strong>in</strong> space should followthe fact that the space is a limited good whichshould be treated reasonable and above all susta<strong>in</strong>ableif we want to follow the pr<strong>in</strong>ciples of UNdef<strong>in</strong>ition of susta<strong>in</strong>able development, whichshould assure the development that meets theneeds of the present without compromis<strong>in</strong>g theability of future generations to meet their ownneeds.In order to achieve the goals of susta<strong>in</strong>able spatialdevelopment it is necessary to def<strong>in</strong>e values
