Over time, Dr. Mielke’s area ofgreatest expertise is in the management of patients withcerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions. He also enjoys performing both foot and hipdysplasia surgery.A note from Dr. Guidera: It’s hard to realize that todayis my last official day at SHC-TC. I have certainly enjoyedour time together and appreciate how much each of youdo for our patients and hospital. This is a wonderful andcaring team; keep up the good work and team effort! It’sthe people who make the difference and I believe we haveone of the greatest care teams available. I have been proudto work with you and now, in my new position, I willcontinue to watch over our hospital. I will continue toassist with physician recruitment, the permanent Chief ofStaff selection, a few clinics and surgeries and outreachclinics. I ask each of you to continue to work together anddo whatever you can to increase patient volume; it’s up toeveryone to address this issue.I believe I leave the hospital in better shape than in2004, and most of that is due to your efforts. Keep up thegood work, and have a Happy and Blessed holiday season. Thanks, KenA note from Dr. Mielke: I am having a hard timefinding the proper words of appreciation for all that Dr.Guidera has done for our hospital and staff over the lasteight years.
