SmartAddresser 5DELETING RECORDSThe Delete feature allows you to tag records for deletion. Once you have determinedthat you want to permanently delete the record you can use the Pack Databasefeature. Deleted records will be tagged with a black bar to the left of the record in ListView and will be dimmed. By default, deleted records are not included in manyprocesses in SmartAddresser 5. However, most windows include a check box so you canchoose whether or not you want to include the deleted items in the process.Follow the steps below to tag records for deletion:To Delete one record at a time:• Click on the record that you want to delete.• Click on the Delete/Recall button in the toolbar.The record will be dimmed in the list and a black bar will appear to the left of therecord.To Delete a group of records:• From the Edit menu, choose Delete.
