Spinal decompression works through a series of 15 one minute alternatingdecompression (using a logarithmic decompression curve) and relaxationcycles with a total treatment time of approximately 30 minutes. During thedecompression phase the pressure in the disc is reduced and a vacuum typeof affect is produced on the disc and increases the Nucleus Pulposis’s (innernucleolus of the disc) ability to use oxygen and nutrition.
