Our CelebrityReining has established itselfas the secret star of theSVAG CS Classic!Be prepared:Again, our Celebrityshow will rock the Arena!>>Birgit von Bentzel>>Manuela Baraschi>>ChristopheMalbranqueThe idea of this event is that Celebritiesfrom TV stations all over Europeare competing in a Reining showagainst Michael Schumacher andthus demonstrating two things: a)their – partly very new - riding skillsand b) that Reining is a serious sportwhich requires a lot of sensibility andhard work.„I always get the feeling people arenot aware about how much workand effort is involved when you doReining“, Michael says. „so we felt itwould be good to explain this sport toan audience which so far did not learnabout Reining a lot.“As the Celebrity Reining is stagedright after the Open Class with thevery best riders, you can perfectlyunderstand the difference and whereyou can develop to if you are a devotedReiner.As Michael says: „I am looking forwardto this competition, even if I amusually not training it at all. But I haveto admit that every time we did this, Ihad a lot of fun, and I am happy thatFormula 1 presenters from all over Europehave gone into this idea. None ofthem is an expert, and most of themdid not really have time to prepare alot, but I hope the spectators from thedifferent countries will support andcheer for them – actually, I have nodoubt about this, as our spectatorshave always been really nice andsupportive and have been applaudingenthusiastically.“Saying this, we could not have realizedthe idea without the help andsupport of trainers and owners ofRanches in the competitor’s countries,who with a lot of patience introducedour tv-celebrities to the worldof Reining and the pattern they haveto show. Their job for sure is not soeasy, and the whole team of the CSRanch would like to thank them a lotfor their work.Our competitors this year:Birgit von Bentzel, RTL GermanyBirgit von Bentzel has been the faceof the Breakfast Program on RTL for8 years and for now 11 years she hasbeen presenting Sport on RTL aktuell,the RTL Live News TV program.Besides she also presents Sporton n-tv. She has trained on MizzenSpook at Oliver Stein's facility,owned by Nicole Ulrich. During theSVAG CS Classic she will ride anotherhorse: Tuckenter Oak is ownedby Petra Granderath. Petra will alsocoach Birgit at our show.Steven Proven, SBS BelgiumSteven is a TV-reporter at SBS BelgiumNV. He was trained at Eifel GoldRanch with Susy & Cira Baeck.
