The Power of Believingof God with boldness." What changed those men?Between the resurrection record and Acts 2 there isnothing that could have changed the men except thenew birth which is the power of the holy spirit whichcame on Pentecost. I have never seen one person getrid of his fear until he became born again of God'sSpirit, filled with the power of the holy spirit.If you want to get rid of your fear, your frustrations,your anxieties, you have to be born again by God'sSpirit, filled with His power. That is what changedPeter and the rest of the apostles and that is thepower which will change your life.Peter and John prayed. And when they prayed,the place was shaken where they were assembled.They were all filled with the holy spirit, and theyspake the Word of God with boldness. I always becomeamused when I read that, thinking that if thepower of God moved like that today in most of ourchurches, we would have many funerals. Peoplewould be shocked to death if the place was shakenwhere they prayed. In Acts 4 what they prayed forwas boldness that they might speak The Word.Nothing but the power of the holy spirit in the LivingWord in an individual takes the fear out of him.That is what took the fear out of my life.
