Chapter headings are also not partof the original God-breathed Word. Chapter headingsare found below the chapter markings and are usuallyin italics. These are what man has added. An exampleof an erroneous chapter heading in some King Jameseditions is Isaiah 29. Chapter 29 heading says, "Theheavy judgment of God upon Jerusalem. " The headingon chapter 30 says, "God's mercy toward HisChurch." The text says in Isaiah 1:1, "The vision ofIsaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerningJudah and Jerusalem." Either the man who put "Tothe church" at the top of chapter 30 is wrong or TheWord in Isaiah 1:1 is wrong.Paragraphs and center references are all man-made.Paragraphs are interpretations of what the translatorsthink.
