To accommodateparents’ schedules, parent/teacher conferencesare scheduled in the fall and spring, during bothdaytime and evening hours. There is an increasingeffort to involve students in the conferenceprocess which heightens the students’ awarenessand commitment to their learning. Conferencesalso occur at any time during the schoolyear when requested by a parent, teacher, and/or administrator.19
