The Spirit of God quickened those two words — “go away.” Iacted on it and went away, walk<strong>in</strong>g straight down to my plane,where I sat down and was soon on my way to Addis Ababa.My heart spoke to me, “What is go<strong>in</strong>g to happen to you whenyou get <strong>the</strong>re?”“I believe I am <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> will of God,” I <strong>in</strong>sisted silently.My heart proceeded to warn me of <strong>the</strong> dire consequences await<strong>in</strong>gme <strong>in</strong> Addis Ababa, and I cont<strong>in</strong>ued to object that God hadspoken to me through <strong>the</strong> man.When <strong>the</strong> plane landed <strong>in</strong> Ethiopia, I went to customs where Ispotted David through <strong>the</strong> grate. Just as he shouted “Bro<strong>the</strong>r<strong>Arthur</strong>!” a porter picked up my cases and walked straight towardDavid. Follow<strong>in</strong>g him, I walked through customs. David tipped<strong>the</strong> porter who went on his way. For <strong>the</strong> first and only time <strong>in</strong>my life, I had gone through customs without show<strong>in</strong>g my passport.I was very busy m<strong>in</strong>ister<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>the</strong> Ethiopians with several meet<strong>in</strong>gsdaily beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g at 8:00 <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> morn<strong>in</strong>g. After several days,God spoke such a clear and def<strong>in</strong>ite Word to me that I began totremble. Sitt<strong>in</strong>g down to breakfast, I said, “David, <strong>the</strong> Lord hasgiven me a Word for you.”“Wonderful,” he replied. “Janet, come on and sit down. Bro<strong>the</strong>r<strong>Arthur</strong> has a Word from <strong>the</strong> Lord for us.” He waited excitedly tohear what I would say.“Bro<strong>the</strong>r David, you are totally, completely and absolutely outof <strong>the</strong> will of God by be<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Ethiopia.”David received my Word as from God. He turned to Janet andsaid, “If Bro<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Arthur</strong> is right, it expla<strong>in</strong>s everyth<strong>in</strong>g that hasbeen happen<strong>in</strong>g.”When I got to <strong>the</strong> airport for my departure flight, an officialasked to see my visa. “I haven’t got one,” I told him.“Impossible. You couldn’t be <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> country without one.”“Look, mister,” I said, “I am.”“How did you get <strong>in</strong>?”218
