Every seat to London is booked for days.You don’t have a chance at all of gett<strong>in</strong>g on any plane until atleast three or four days after <strong>the</strong> Christmas holiday.”I stared at him blankly for a moment. I had let my ride go and Iwas stuck <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> airport. “Lord,” I prayed, “I have come here asYour servant, and now this man says <strong>the</strong>re is no room.” Then Ismiled at <strong>the</strong> ticket agent, “Are you sure you don’t have a seat on<strong>the</strong> plane? I don’t m<strong>in</strong>d sitt<strong>in</strong>g on <strong>the</strong> w<strong>in</strong>gs.”He shook his head. “We have about six or seven standby passengersahead of you wait<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> case somebody doesn’t turn up.”I prayed silently, “Lord, this is <strong>in</strong>formation from <strong>the</strong> tree of <strong>the</strong>knowledge of good and evil, but You haven’t told me it is impossible,so I am stay<strong>in</strong>g here.” I put my case down and stood <strong>the</strong>reat <strong>the</strong> counter.The ticket agents began to discuss <strong>the</strong> problem of <strong>the</strong> snow and<strong>the</strong> flights:“Look at it com<strong>in</strong>g down now!”“You know someth<strong>in</strong>g, when this plane goes out, it will be <strong>the</strong>last one. In fact, I don’t know whe<strong>the</strong>r this one is go<strong>in</strong>g to getout.”167
