You can never adequatelydeal with fear unless you deal with the lie behind it. Deal with thelie and the fear will die. The prisoner stands looking out of thebarred window, weeping over his captivity, but the truth is, behindhim, the iron door of his cell has been opened by the atonementof Jesus Christ.With this in mind, I felt, whatever Mrs. Darkins’ problem was,the perfect love of God could solve it. And like a spiritual iceberg,she would melt by the warmth and grace of God in ourhome. Then, I believed God would heal her of her past wounds.155
