The following qualifications will not lead to Associate membership:• Advanced Award in Human Resources• Intermediate Award in Human Resources• Foundation Award in Human Resource Essentials• Foundation Award in Learning and Development Essentials• Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring (CCM)• Certificate in Employment Relations, Law and Practice (CERLAP)• Certificate in Recruitment and Selection (CRS).If you’re unsure about which qualification you’re studying or have studied, please contact your study centre orcall us on +44 (0)20 8612 6208.I’ve successfully completed or I’m currently studying a…CIPD Foundation Diploma or Certificate, orequivalent university qualification that has beenapproved by the CIPD.CIPD Intermediate Diploma or Certificate, orequivalent university qualification that has beenapproved by the CIPD.If you’ve already completed your qualification orcomplete before 30 January 2014, you’ll remain aStudent member until you’re awarded Associatemembership on 31 January 2014.You’ll automatically be awarded Associatemembership if you successfully complete yourqualification from 31 January 2014.CIPD Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel andDevelopment (Professional Development Scheme(PDS)).CIPD Advanced Diploma in Human ResourceManagement or Human Resource Development,or an equivalent university qualification that hasbeen approved by the CIPD.On successful completion of your qualification you’llbe awarded Graduate membership until 31 January2014. After this date, on successful completionyou’ll be awarded Associate membership.Please note that the Graduate grade ofmembership will be removed from our membershipstructure on 1 July 2014. If you’re a Graduatemember at this point, you’ll be automaticallytransferred to Associate membership. You cantransfer to Associate free of charge before 1 July2014 by simply calling us on +44 (0) 20 8612 6208or you can apply to become a Chartered Member orChartered Fellow, subject to your level of experience.For more information, visit cipd.co.uk/statusIf you’re studying a Postgraduate Diploma inPersonnel and Development (CIPD ProfessionalDevelopment Scheme (PDS)), we’ll need yourresults from your study centre by 31 December 2013to award you your CIPD qualification. If we receiveyour results after this date, we’ll be unable to awardyou your CIPD qualification, but you’ll still be eligiblefor the relevant grade of CIPD membership.
