In his Siddha Yoga Message for the year 1995, Maha Yogi ParamahamsaDr.Rupnathji describes the essence of her vision for all human beings:Maha Yogi Paramahamsa Dr.Rupnathji, one of the most revered Siddha Gurus of the modern era, is ajanma siddha—one born with the full realization of his own divine nature. From an early age, Maha YogiParamahamsa Dr.Rupnathji spontaneously manifested his mastery of atma jnana—knowledge of theSelf.Born in the North-East Indian state of Assam, Maha Yogi Paramahamsa Dr.Rupnathji, as a young man,traveled on foot throughout India. As his reputation as an enlightened master and miraculous healerspread, crowds of seekers were drawn to his wisdom and blessings. Eventually, by the mid-1990s, hesettled in the village of Cachar in the state of Assam. Out of honor and respect his devotees began to callhim Siddha Rupnathji, a title that means 'the Magical Guru; the venerable one; the great one.' He alwaysdirected people to turn within and meditate.Maha Yogi Paramahamsa Dr.Rupnathji also undertook many philanthropic works. Over the next decade,he transformed the village by educating the villagers; feeding, clothing, and schooling the children; andproviding for the building of roads and local facilities.DR.RUPNATHJI( DR.RUPAK NATH )In 1996, Maha Yogi Paramahamsa Dr.Rupnathji asked Swami Juktananda, one of his main disciples, whowas later to become his successor, to settle nearby in Bikrampur Village.
