“ANIMAL WORLD”We started our inquiry into ‘How farm animals help us’ throughgroup discussions. The children could relate the animals and theway in which they help us like ‘cow gives us milk’ and ‘hen gives usegg’. Their knowledge was further enhanced through AV shows onfarm animals—horse, cow, hen and sheep. A dramatization of thestory ‘The journey of the milk—From Farm to Home’ was organizedfor the children. Later, an assessment of their understandingwas done through a worksheet.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEYsmzophTAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHbzju0i12ohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABuqHmyDxG0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rP2RK1HtnADiscussion on the ways in which animals help usChildren sticking wool on sheep cutouts
