DIPARTIMENT TAL-INFORMAZZJONIDEPARTMENT OF INFORMATIONMALTAPress Notices08. 06. 2011NOTICE TO MARINERS NO 44 of 2011Sailing Regatta at Grand Harbour, 11 and 12 June, 2011.The Ports and Yachting Directorate, Transport Malta would like to notify mariners that a SailingRegatta will be held on Saturday 11 June 2011 and Sunday 12 June 2011 in Grand Harbour inBighi Bay.The sailing regatta shall take place as follows:Saturday 11 June 2011 – between 1400 hours and 1800 hours (local time)Sunday 12 June 2011 - between 0930 hours and 1800 hours (local time)The sailing regatta shall take place in the area indicated in the attached chartlet.The course shall be defined by marker buoys around which the competitors shall have to sail.Masters of all craft not directly involved in this Sailing Regatta are asked to keep a sharp lookoutand navigate clear of the racing area, especially at each of the turning marks.
