Hessit Works Inc.Hessit Pavers are manufactured to the most stringent standards in the industry (exceeding ASTM C-936). Their strength andimpermeability to moisture combine to produce a beautiful, smooth textured paver that continues to look beautiful in theyears to come.TWO TYPES OF COBBLESTONES Hessit Works Inc. manufactures two distinct types of cobblestone for your selection. TheDutch Cobblestone is a non-tumbled paver with an embossed top surface and joint spacers for easy installation. When compactingthese pavers into place be sure to use a rubber mat under the compactor to prevent scraping the embossed surface.The Dutch Cobblestone is manufactured in three different sizes (8.25" x 8.25", 8.25" x 5.5", and 5.5" x 5.5"). Each size is palletizedand sold separately. An addition to the Dutch Cobblestone line is the Dutch Cobblestone circle, each pallet of circlestones contain 5 sizes and has enough products to create an 11'1" diameter circle.The Three-piece Cobblestone have a smooth surface with rounded corners and no spacers and are great for doing curvingwalkways with no cuts. Unlike the Dutch Cobblestone the Three-piece Cobblestone has all three sizes on the same pallet fora total shipment quantity of 80 sq. ft. per pallet. The pieces will consist of these sizes (4.52" x 6.77", 4.52" x 4.52", 4.52" x2.24"). The Three-piece Cobblestone design also has available a compatible cobble circle stone pallet that creates either two7' diameter circles or one 10' diameter circle.TWO TYPES OF TUMBLED PAVING STONES Hessit Works Inc. is pleased to offer two complete product lines of tumbled pavingstones. All of our Tumbled pavers are tumbled in a barrel tumbler and are not a chain beaten product. Both product lineshave each size on a separate pallet. The Bavarian Tumbled paver has a smooth surface and no joint spacers to eliminate theconcerns of which side to place face up.The Bavarian Tumbled pavers are produced in 6 colors and four different sizes andare 60mm ( 2 3/8") thick. These three sizes (8.25" x 8.25", 8.25" x 5.5", and 5.5" x 5.5") are used when installing one of themuster patterns. The fourth size 3.875" x 7.75" is referred to as our Tumbled Mission paver and can be installed in four differentlayouts or used for a border. We also offer a corresponding circle pallet of circle stones containing the 5 sizes neededto create an 11'1" diameter circle.Our Roman Tumbled pavers have an embossed surface which should be laid face up and are more commonly installed usingone of the 11 layoutpatterns described in this brochure. The Roman Tumbled series is a thicker paver and has 4 sizes(5.812" x 5.812"", 5.812" x 11.678", 11.678" x 11.678" and 8.75" x 14.625") and are 7cm (2 3/4") thick. To complete theRoman Tumbled series is a corresponding circle pallet containing 5 sizes of stones to create a beautiful 10'4" circle.COLOR BLENDS Hessit Works Inc. color blends have been recognized as the best available. Because of our unique manufacturingprocess, each cube of Hessit Pavers shows all colors in a blend of the proper proportions. With our blending system there is neverthe “blotched” or “striped” effect seen in some manufacturing processes. Since Hessit Pavers are pre-blended, the expense ofhand blending or laying from several cubes is eliminated; even a single cube will show the whole range, evenly distributed.SPECIAL COLORS AND BLENDS Hessit Works Inc. has a history of creating special blends. If the color guide does not have theexact color you are looking for, contact us for information on special colors. Minimum order for special blends is 3000 sq. ft.and product is non-returnable.EFFLORESCENCE—CAUSE AND REMOVAL There is a chance that after a few weeks or months pass after installation of pavingstones, a white haze may appear on the surface of the pavers. This is known as efflorescence. There’s no reason to be concernedthat your pavers are damaged or defective. The concrete pavers are experiencing a natural process that all cement-based productsmay experience. Hessit Works puts chemical additives in the concrete to reduce the likelihood of efflorescence. If efflorescencedoes occur it will usually correct itself with time and exposure to the elements. If you choose not to wait for the naturalprocess to remove the efflorescence, the product Efflorescence Cleaner may be used to chemically remove the efflorescence.PAVER LIFETIME WARRANTY Hessit Works Inc. carries a lifetime warranty on the structural integrity of its pavers for residentialuse to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase will be required and defective product must be available for inspectionby an authorized representative of Hessit Works Inc. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improperinstallation, maintenance and de-icing products not recommended by the manufacturer. Replacement labor and transportationcosts are not included. Color matching is not guaranteed.This color guide has been developed by Hessit Works Inc. to help you choose the color range and paver style best suited to yourdesign. We believe this guide presents an accurate representation of the colors available; however, some variance due to lighting,photography and manufacturing may be expected. Therefore, we ask that you view actual samples for color confirmationbefore ordering.2
