pathology revealed the following findings: perineural fibrosis (n=2), degenerative nervetissue (n=3), neuroma (n=2), normal nerve tissue (n=8), and fibrosis without nervetissue (n=1). In 6 patients no pathological examination was obtained. These findingsdid not seem to correlate with <strong>pain</strong> outcome.
