Peters purchased thepaper, selling it in 1874 to Otto H. Wengelin.August Langellicr became the proprietor thefollowing year and sold it back to MatthewM. P. Kiiis Peters in 1878. After several years of ownership,Peters sold to Edwin Beard from whomMatthew P. Kelly purchased the paper in 1900. Mr. Kelly formeda partnership with C. W.
