Bato-Bato, Indanan, Sulu was pounded by alandmine which resulted to the death oftwo (2) US Forces and one (1) from thePhilippine Marines who were on board aHumvee Vehicle. IX-04-INV-10D-00019 against Puruji INDAMA, Nurhassan JAMIRI,Moton INDAMA, Ajid JAINUL, @ UMBAK, @ MOHAMMAD andseveral John Does.On April 13, 2010 at around 10:45 AM, a loudexplosion occurred at the vicinity of Sta. IsabelCathedral, located at Misericordia Street,Isabela City, Basilan. As a result, one (1)innocent civilian was killed while fifteen (15)others were injured. Charges for MURDERand Multiple Frustrated murder was filedbefore the Isabela City Prosecutors Officeagainst Puruji INDAMA, Nurhassan JAMIRI, Moton INDAMA, AjidJAINUL, @ UMBAK, @ MOHAMMAD and several John Doesdocketed under NPS Docket No. IX-04-INV-100-00020.• On May 30, 2010 at around 6:30 in the evening, one (1) Malik Usabwas abducted by Patar Salahuddin, Boy Salahuddin and six (6)unidentified armed other companions at Akuk Sangkula, Brgy. LupahAbu, Parang, Sulu. The victim was released on April 1, 2010 ataround 4:30 in the afternoon at Brgy. Bato-Bato, Indanan, Sulu uponpayment of ransom money in the amount of PHp470,000.00.Subsequently, on May 19, 2010, a case for Kidnapping with SeriousIllegal Detention was filed before the Sulu Provincial ProsecutorsOffice against Patar Salahuddin, Boy Salahuddin and six (6)unidentified others under docket number NPS-XIV-07-INV-10E-00060.• On May 27, 2010 at around 6:45 in the morning,abduction incident occurred at Sitio Munpol, Brgy.LIbug, Sumisip, Basilan wherein the victims identifiedas Claudio Mañanita, employee of Mangal AgrarianReform Beneficiary Development Cooperative(MARBEDCO), Jofrey Mañanita, RolandoFRANCISCO and Daniel D QUINTELA by themembers of the Abu Sayyaf Group led by Puruji

However, onJune 16, 2010 after two (2) months andtwelve (12) days in captivity, the victimwas successfully rescued by operatives of Joint Task Force (JTF)Charlie and Joint Task Force (JTF) Trillium-Naval Forces WesternMindanao (NFWM) at the shoreline of Brgy. Labuan, Zamboanga City.Manhunt operation conducted by joint operatives of the IntelligenceSection-ZCPO and RID, PRO-9 at the shoreline of the boundary of Brgy.Sinubong and Brgy. Talisayan, this city that resulted to the killing of thealleged abductor a certain IBNOKAIS (TNU), a native of Brgy. Baiwas,Sumisip, Basilan Province while his two(2) other companions were able to eludearrest. Recovered from the crime scenewas one (1) unit Cal. 45 Pistol withoutbrand name bearing SN: 760661.
