我 们 的 社 区 Our CommunityCTC Celebrates Children’s Daywith Kids from Migrant SchoolsOn June 1 – 2, about 200 volunteers from GE China Technology Center (CTC) visited Kangqiao Gongyou Migrant Primary School andChanglin Migrant Primary School to celebrate Children’s Day with 1,050 students. After a month’s preparation, the volunteers organized11 games for 350 students at Kangqiao Gongyou Migrant Primary School and 15 games for 700 students at Changling Primary School.GE 中 国 研 发 中 心 志 愿 者与 小 学 生 共 度 六 一At Changlin Primary School, the day’s activities began with a song performed by the student body, and then students wore a redscarf for GE leaders, including Chen Xiangli, President of the GE CTC, and Zhang Chao, the Director of GE Human Resources. During theopening ceremony at Kangqiao Gongyou Migrant Primary School, volunteers were honored to witness the Young Pioneer Ceremony,after that, the kids also wearing scarves to GE’s leaders, which included Peter Li, General Manager of GE Energy and James Wang,Manager of Thermal System and Gas Turbine Engineering of GE Energy. The ceremony makes leaders to recall their memory of thechildhood as a young pioneer.The children performed three dances for the volunteers, including Golden Peacock, Memory of Childhood and Time Will Pass By. Asa feedback, several volunteers in a band played a song named “Ode to joy” for children, and had interaction with them. It was reallyfantastic! During the game session, volunteers played tug of war, jigsaw puzzles, and basketball with the students, and the schoolplayground was filled with children’s cheers and laughter.6 月 1 日 和 6 月 2 日 ,GE 中 国 研 发 中 心 的 近 200 名 志 愿 者 们 分 别 走 进 康 桥 工 友 小 学 和 民 办 昌 林 小 学 , 与 1050 名 孩子 一 起 庆 祝 六 一 儿 童 节 。 经 过 近 一 个 月 的 筹 备 工 作 , 志 愿 者 们 分 别 为 两 个 学 校 制 定 了 方 案 , 成 功 为 康 桥 工 友 小 学 的350 名 学 生 开 展 了 11 个 游 戏 , 为 民 办 昌 林 小 学 的 700 名 学 生 开 展 了 15 个 游 戏 。The Children’s Day activities were a huge success, receiving positive feedback from the school leaders and students who look forwardto similar events in the future. The organizers of the activity said that although it takes time and energy to arrange this kind of hugeevent, it was well worth to see the smiles on children’s faces.在 民 办 昌 林 小 学 , 活 动 以 全 校 学 生 大 合 唱 开 场 。 少 先 队 员 为 GE 中 国 研 发 中 心 总 裁 陈 向 力 、 人 力 资 源 总 监 张 超 分 别佩 戴 红 领 巾 。 而 在 康 桥 小 学 的 开 幕 仪 式 中 ,GE 志 愿 者 们 见 证 了 新 少 先 队 员 的 入 队 仪 式 , 而 少 先 队 员 们 也 为 到 场 的GE 能 源 集 团 技 术 部 总 经 理 李 枫 、 能 源 集 团 热 能 及 燃 机 工 程 部 经 理 王 建 民 分 别 佩 带 了 红 领 巾 , 让 领 导 们 也 重 温 了 少 先队 员 的 美 好 回 忆 。孩 子 们 为 志 愿 者 们 表 演 了 三 段 名 为 “ 金 孔 雀 ”、“ 童 年 的 回 忆 ” 和 “ 青 春 圆 舞 曲 ” 的 舞 蹈 。 作 为 回 馈 , 志 愿 者 们 也组 建 了 一 只 小 乐 队 跟 孩 子 们 一 起 互 动 , 并 演 奏 了 “ 欢 乐 颂 ” 等 歌 曲 , 将 节 日 气 氛 推 向 高 潮 。 在 游 戏 环 节 , 志 愿 者 们和 小 朋 友 们 一 起 进 行 了 拔 河 、 拼 图 、 趣 味 篮 球 等 游 戏 , 使 整 个 校 园 充 满 了 欢 乐 的 气 氛 。活 动 在 两 个 学 校 都 举 办 得 非 常 成 功 , 受 到 了 学 校 和 孩 子 们 的 积 极 反 馈 , 纷 纷 希 望 类 似 活 动 能 经 常 举 办 。 而 志 愿 者 们也 从 活 动 中 受 益 匪 浅 。 两 场 活 动 的 负 责 人 都 表 示 尽 管 组 织 这 样 的 大 型 活 动 需 要 花 费 很 多 心 思 , 处 理 诸 多 琐 事 , 但 当看 到 孩 子 们 灿 烂 的 笑 脸 时 , 志 愿 者 们 感 到 所 有 的 付 出 都 是 值 得 的 。63 GE & MEGE & ME 64
