我 们 的 社 区 Our Community“ 小 树 与 我 们 共 成 长 ”—— 中 航 通 用 电 气 民 用 航 电 系 统 责 任 有 限 公 司 开 展 植 树 活 动“We Will Thrive Along with the Trees”— GE AVIC Civil Avionics Systems Company HoldsTree Planting Activity3 月 30 号 , 作 为 GE 与 中 航 工 业 的 合 资 企 业 , 中 航 通 用 电 气 民 用 航 电 系 统 责 任 有 限 公 司 在 上 海 闵 联 园 艺 的 支 持 下 于 紫 竹 工 业 园 区 举行 了 植 树 活 动 , 旨 在 改 善 园 区 环 境 并 庆 祝 合 资 公 司 的 成 立 。此 次 活 动 吸 引 了 近 200 位 员 工 的 热 情 参 与 。 虽 然 活 动 当 天 下 着 蒙 蒙 细 雨 , 现 场 泥 泞 不 堪 , 但 每 个 人 都 兴 致 勃 勃 。 大 家 在 仅 半 小 时 的时 间 里 就 种 下 了 36 棵 枫 香 树 。 看 到 团 队 合 作 的 成 果 , 大 家 纷 纷 笑 逐 颜 开 , 在 各 自 栽 种 的 树 苗 前 合 影 留 念 。 有 大 家 的 热 情 和 努 力 , 相信 中 航 通 用 电 气 民 用 航 电 系 统 责 任 有 限 公 司 定 会 像 树 苗 那 样 茁 壮 成 长 , 蓬 勃 发 展 。GE 志 愿 者 发 起 保 护 水 资 源 宣 传 活 动GE Volunteers Launch Water-protectingActivity6 月 2 日 ,GE 能 源 集 团 水 处 理 ( 无 锡 ) 工 厂 举 行 了 一 年 一 度 的 家 庭 日 活 动 。 当 天 , 志 愿 者 们 发 起 了 一 个 以 水 为 主 题的 宣 传 活 动 , 向 广 大 员 工 及 家 属 宣 传 了 保 护 水 资 源 、 防 止 水 污 染 等 环 保 知 识 。为 了 让 活 动 的 参 与 者 们 对 身 边 的 水 环 境 有 更 为 直 观 的 认 识 , 七 名 志 愿 者 在 5 月 中 旬 便 分 别 到 无 锡 七 个 不 同 地 区 , 取 了七 份 来 自 不 同 水 源 的 水 样 , 然 后 针 对 水 样 中 有 害 物 质 的 含 量 以 及 酸 碱 度 等 常 见 指 标 , 交 由 质 量 检 测 部 门 的 同 事 进 行 检测 和 分 析 。 志 愿 者 利 用 自 身 的 专 业 知 识 优 势 , 根 据 分 析 结 果 对 样 品 进 行 分 类 和 描 述 , 然 后 在 家 庭 日 当 天 以 展 板 的 形 式展 示 , 图 文 并 茂 地 向 约 300 位 到 场 者 介 绍 了 我 国 水 资 源 所 面 临 的 严 峻 形 势 以 及 水 污 染 所 带 来 的 危 害 。 除 此 之 外 , 志 愿者 们 还 亲 手 制 作 了 精 美 的 宣 传 单 , 将 一 些 节 水 小 窍 门 传 递 给 大 家 。On March 30, GE AVIC Civil Avionics Systems Company, a joint venture between GE and AVIC, planted trees in Zizhu Park as part ofefforts to beautify the surroundings and also celebrate the joint venture’s establishment.Nearly 200 colleagues participated in the environmental activity. Despite the rain and the muddy fields, everyone was enthusiastic andexcited about making a contribution to Mother Nature. A total of 36 maple saplings were planted. Enjoying the teamwork and sense ofachievement, many people took photos with trees they just planted. The trees will thrive and one day witness future environmentallyfriendly efforts organized by GE AVIC.本 次 活 动 让 大 家 对 身 边 的 水 资 源 有 了 更 深 层 次 的 认 识 , 掌 握 了 更 多 有 关 水 的 知 识 。 当 天 活 动 也 吸 引 了 不 少 小 朋 友 , 志愿 者 们 寓 教 于 乐 的 讲 解 方 式 让 他 们 在 欢 声 笑 语 中 学 到 了 不 少 知 识 , 希 望 本 次 活 动 能 够 帮 助 小 朋 友 们 从 小 养 成 节 约 用 水的 好 习 惯 。On June 2, GE Power & Water’s (Wuxi) annual Family Day was held in tandem with an environmental protectionpromotional activity under the theme of water launched by GE volunteers, calling on employees and their families to savewater, and prevent water pollution.In order to allow employees to gain more insight into water environment, seven volunteers visited seven districts inWuxi and took seven water samples from various water sources in mid-May. The samples were then delivered to theircolleagues in Quality Control for testing and analyzing hazardous substances and PH levels. Based on their professionalknowledge about water, the volunteers described and classified the samples then showed the results on panels on FamilyDay, illustrating the grim situation China faces concerning its water resources along with the dangersof water pollution. The volunteers also delivered beautifully designed leaflets to the employeesproviding tips on effective ways to save water.The Family Day activity allowed everyone to gain a deeper understanding of how valuable waterresources are. Many children also participated and learned about water through educationallectures given by volunteers who hope the children will develop water-saving habits now that theycan practice throughout their lives.59 GE & MEGE & ME 60
