员 工 天 地 Employee Corner营 养 早 餐 开 启 美 好 一 天Starting each day with a nutritious breakfast随 着 现 代 人 生 活 节 奏 加 快 , 快 餐 和 速 食 已 然 成 为 很 多 上 班 族 的 首选 饮 食 方 式 , 甚 至 一 顿 精 心 搭 配 的 早 餐 都 已 成 为 奢 侈 。 为 了 让 员工 意 识 到 营 养 三 餐 的 重 要 性 , 北 京 园 区 健 康 我 先 行 委 员 会 (GEHC)在 健 康 日 当 天 向 员 工 发 放 了 营 养 早 餐 , 一 碗 清 淡 的 米 粥 、 一 个 包 子 和 一 个 鸡 蛋 的 搭 配 既 营 养 又 健 康 , 每 位领 取 营 养 早 餐 的 员 工 还 将 获 得 一 件 绿 色 环 保 T 恤 。With the fast pace of modern life, eating fast food and snacks has become a frequent option for a larger number of office workers.To raise employees' awareness to the importance of having nutritious meals, the GEHC Beijing Campus HealthAhead Committeedelivered nutritious breakfasts to employees on HealthAhead Day. The breakfasts were a nutritious and healthy combination of abowl of rice porridge, a steamed stuffed bun and an egg. Besides the breakfast, a green environment-friendly T-shirt was also sentto employees.同 样 是 鼓 励 员 工 健 康 饮 食 ,GE 能 源 SJV 则 别 出 心 裁 地 举 办 了 “ 控 盐 勺 ” 发 放 活 动 。 众 所 周 知 , 食 盐 对 人 体 有 着 重 要 作 用 , 但食 盐 的 摄 入 量 一 定 要 严 格 控 制 , 若 长 期 过 量 摄 人 食 盐 , 很 容 易 诱 发 疾 病 。 专 家 推 荐 健 康 成 人 每 日 摄 入 食 盐 的 安 全 量 为 五 至 六 克 。不 少 员 工 都 开 心 地 表 示 此 次 发 放 的 这 把 有 刻 度 的 盐 勺 十 分 实 用 , 将 每 天 提 醒 自 己 和 家 人 合 理 食 盐 。To also encourage employees to maintain healthy diets, GE Energy SJV held an ingenious activity to dispense the “Salt-ControlSpoon” to employees. It is common knowledge that salt plays an important role in the body’s functions,but the ingestion of salt needs to be controlled since excessive intake may induce diseases. Expertsrecommended that five to six grams a day is suitable for adults. Many employees were pleasedto receive the salt spoons with scales and said it would help remind their families of havingsuitable amount of salt every day.They also made personal commitment to HealthAhead. The participants paid their sincere congratulation to the three smokequitting stars and some employees were so inspired that they wanted to immediately sign up. Olympicsports challenge activities attracted about a hundred employees participating in the event. The champions of the four challengeactivities, including Spinning, Rowing, Chin-up and Shuttlecock kicking, wrote their names and scores on the board, arousing theattention of many employees. Mini Olympic-Basketball Games were played on the playground. In the tandem bicycle race (theemployees’ favorite activity), each team of two started from the entrance near the reception desk and cycled half way around theplant. The fastest three teams received special prizes. Additionally, there were badminton games, skipping rope and shuttlecockkicking for employees to take part in. After Yu Hongxia from China Tobacco Control officedelivered a wonderful speech on some quitting, came the most important activity–announcement of the Tobacco Free Stars! Withthe help of the Tobacco Free project, which was launched on March 2011, Zhangbin (CT Production), Wang Zhixin (CT Production),Cao Huiyong (Warehouse Production) have all succeeded in quitting, and have gained noticeable improvements in health.In addition to the activities above, Tai-chi, physical exercises, health seminars andother activities were carried out in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Chengdu.
