员 工 天 地 Employee Corner演 讲 台 上 闪 耀 自 我GE CTC Toastmaster Club HostsNinth Speech Marathon健 康 接 力 棒 , 给 力 传 递 中——2012 GE 中 国 员 工 健 康 日Learning How to Lead a Healthy Life— 2012 GE China HealthAhead Day5 月 26 日 ,GE 中 国 研 发 中 心 演 讲 大 师 俱 乐 部 在 颐 品 茶 道 举 行了 马 拉 松 演 讲 活 动 。 演 讲 大 师 俱 乐 部 是 目 前 在 GE 中 国 研 发 中心 最 受 欢 迎 的 俱 乐 部 之 一 , 其 成 立 的 宗 旨 在 于 提 高 大 家 的 英 文演 讲 能 力 。 作 为 团 队 建 设 的 一 个 重 要 组 成 部 分 , 这 已 是 俱 乐 部第 九 次 组 织 马 拉 松 演 讲 活 动 了 。当 天 共 计 有 15 名 同 事 参 加 了 这 一 活 动 , 并 有 8 名 俱 乐 部 成 员发 表 了 精 彩 的 演 讲 。 其 中 , 首 次 登 台 的 高 杰 极 具 演 说 天 赋 , 他充 满 传 奇 色 彩 的 演 讲 赢 得 了 听 众 们 的 交 口 称 赞 , 如 此 惊 艳 的 首次 亮 相 也 让 他 当 之 无 愧 地 被 评 为 当 天 的 “ 最 佳 演 讲 者 ”。 而 已经 是 第 十 次 登 场 的 盛 小 飞 更 是 上 演 了 华 丽 蜕 变 , 准 备 充 分 的 她与 前 几 次 的 表 现 相 比 已 是 判 若 两 人 , 令 人 刮 目 相 看 。 俱 乐 部 也因 此 将 “ 完 美 沟 通 ” 奖 项 颁 给 了 她 , 以 奖 励 她 的 不 懈 坚 持 与 努 力 。其 他 同 事 的 演 讲 亦 是 精 彩 纷 呈 , 且 不 乏 一 些 话 语 风 趣 的 幽 默 大师 , 让 到 场 的 听 众 们 时 不 时 爆 发 出 阵 阵 笑 声 , 热 烈 的 场 面 甚 至吸 引 了 不 少 好 奇 的 服 务 员 驻 足 观 看 , 俱 乐 部 成 员 们 的 闲 暇 周 末就 在 这 种 欢 快 的 气 氛 中 轻 松 度 过 。On May 26, GE China Technology Center (CTC) Toastmaster Clubhosted a speech marathon at the Yi Pin Teahouse. As one of themost popular organizations in GE CTC, the Toastmaster Clubaims to improve employees’ capabilities in delivering speeches inEnglish. This was the ninth speech marathon that served as partof a series of teambuilding activities.A total of 15 colleagues joined this activity with eight deliveringspeeches. James Gao made his outstanding debut, showcasinghis amazing talent in a legendary speech. His excellentperformance won applauses along with the “best speaker”title. Sheng Xiaofei delivered her tenth speech, in which shedisplayed her transformation from an inexperienced speaker toa toastmaster. Her impressive hard work won her the “competentcommunication” award. The other six members delivered brilliantspeeches as well, their humorous oratory remarks causinglaughter to erupt from the audience.2012 GE 员 工 健 康 日 于 5 月 16 日 在 大 中 华 区 全 面 展 开 , 共 有 15000 余 名 GE 员 工 现 场 参 与 活 动 , 还 有 更 多 员 工 通 过 微 博 、 博 客 等渠 道 关 注 健 康 日 。 健 康 日 当 天 举 办 了 三 百 多 项 健 康 活 动 , 并 为 全 球 百 万 公 里 大 挑 战 贡 献 了 264766 公 里 , 在 国 家 排 行 榜 上 荣 获 亚 军 。下 面 让 我 们 一 起 去 看 看 都 有 哪 些 精 彩 节 目 在 健 康 日 当 天 靓 丽 登 场 !The 2012 GE HealthAhead Day was held across China on May 16, with more than 15,000 GE employees taking part and othersfollowing via Weibo and a variety of blogs. More than 300 activities were held, contributing to a total of 264,766 kilometers to GlobalGo for the Gold Challenge. GE China was the second largest contributor to the total. Let’s have a look at how some of GE’s departmentscelebrated HealthAhead Day.行 走 让 生 活 充 满 正 能 量Walking for a better life5 月 16 日 中 午 , 往 日 清 静 的 GE 杭 州 工 厂 区 今 天 却 欢 声 笑 语 不 断 , 原 来 GE 杭 州 的健 康 日 主 打 星 正 是 已 成 为 潮 流 的 健 走 运 动 。 员 工 需 围 绕 厂 区 快 速 步 行 两 圈 , 约 2.2公 里 , 并 在 途 中 领 取 六 个 运 动 章 , 最 后 可 凭 徽 章 在 前 台 领 取 一 份 精 美 礼 品 。这 次 活 动 不 仅 仅 是 一 次 单 纯 的 演 讲 , 更 是 俱 乐 部 大 家 庭 欢 乐 的聚 会 。 演 讲 活 动 不 仅 为 同 事 们 提 供 了 展 现 自 己 的 机 会 , 更 让 俱乐 部 的 会 员 们 体 会 到 了 大 家 庭 的 温 馨 和 快 乐 。 相 信 俱 乐 部 以 后还 会 举 办 各 式 各 样 的 活 动 , 为 更 多 的 员 工 提 供 展 现 自 己 的 平 台 。This activity served as more than just a platform for speeches,it was a party for club members to gather together and enjoy anight of fun and laughter. The speech marathon offered chancesfor employees to showcase their skills and interact with otherclub members. We hope the club will continue to provide anoutlet for employees to display their public speaking abilities.The GE Hangzhou factory was full of laughter and excitement after a fitness walking activity got under way. The activityrequired attendees to walk around the factory district for two laps with a total of 2.2 kilometers and they received six badgesalong the way to receive their prizes at the finish line.当 天 ,GE 香 港 在 九 龙 公 园 举 办 了 健 康 行 走 活 动 , 吸 引 了 约 70 名 员 工 参 与 。 活 动 当 天 下 午 , 下 了 一 上 午 的 雨 终 于 停 止 , 明媚 的 阳 光 让 参 与 者 们 欣 喜 万 分 。 伴 着 雨 后 清 新 的 空 气 , 员 工 们 分 成 小 组 按 照 预 设 行 程 行 走 , 并 在 规 定 时 间 内 到 七 个 预 设 点分 别 拍 一 张 照 片 。 活 动 结 束 后 , 大 家 都 说 久 违 的 汗 水 让 每 个 毛 孔 都 充 满 了 能 量 。GE Hong Kong organized a Health Walk in Kowloon Park with around 70 staffparticipating. There was heavy rain in Hong Kong that morning but luckily it stopped bythe afternoon. The sunshine and fresh air provided relaxing conditions to the participants.The staff was divided into different groups and had to take photos in seven different checkpoints within a set time limit. Many of the participants said they have not experienced agood sweat like this for a long time and felt great after the workout.43 GE & MEGE & ME 44
