职 业 加 油 站 Career Development张 天 兵 : 做 好 “ 耳 朵 ” 和 “ 嘴 巴 ”Integrity Comes First— Interviews with GE's Ombudspersons在 GE, 有 这 样 一 些 工 程 师 , 他 们 除 了 完 成 研 究 开 发 工 作 外 , 还要 聆 听 来 自 周 围 同 事 的 诚 信 疑 虑 。 现 任 职 于 GE 运 输 集 团 的 张天 兵 就 是 他 们 中 的 一 员 。2003 年 , 张 天 兵 作 为 研 发 工 程 师 加 入 GE, 自2007 年 转 入 运 输 集 团 后 , 一 直 服 务 至 今 。 作 为 机 械 工 程 经 理 , 他 不 仅 要 领 导 运 输 集 团 的 ICS 机 械 工 程 小 组 , 而 且 还担 负 着 诚 信 疑 虑 受 理 人 的 工 作 , 倾 听 大 家 的 疑 虑 。作 为 诚 信 疑 虑 受 理 人 , 张 天 兵 的 日 常 工 作 之 一 就 是 接 受 和 处 理 各 种 各 样 的 诚 信 疑 虑 报 告 , 其 中 既 涉 及 知 识 产 权 保 护 、EHS 等 方 面 相 关 的 诚 信 问 题 , 也 有 员 工 在 日 常 工 作 流 程 中 遇 到 的 问 题 等 。 面 对 这 些 问 题 , 张 天 兵 需 要 有 足 够 的 耐 心 和灵 活 的 判 断 力 去 逐 一 解 决 。“ 其 实 处 理 这 些 问 题 并 非 一 件 易 事 , 因 为 我 并 不 是 每 个 领 域 的 专 家 。 当 比 较 复 杂 的 情 况 发生 时 , 我 需 要 尽 快 判 断 出 这 个 问 题 所 属 的 领 域 , 然 后 及 时 找 相 关 专 家 或 者 相 应 的 部 门 如 法 律 部 、 人 事 部 等 来 协 助 我 解决 问 题 。” 张 天 兵 坦 言 。Since establishing its own ombudsmen system in 1985, GE has regarded integrity as the foundation of its corporateculture. With over 300,000 employees around the world, GE has more than 750 ombudspersons, about 60 of whomare Chinese. These remarkable individuals are committed to promoting GE’s culture of integrity and keeping thechannels of integrity open.As the enforcers of our integrity, the ombudsperson makes a significant contribution to GE’s compliance culture.In addition to devoting themselves to their own work, they also dedicate a portion of their day to listening toemployees’ concerns and reporting the problems to the related leaders and businesses, helping GE avoid riskscaused by compliance violation. Before serving as the leader of acompliance team, she worked in GE’s financedepartment dealing with numbers and dollars in her daily routine in Beijing and Shanghai. In2007, she left finance and joined GE’s compliance team.Enjoying her work and sticking to integrityAs a compliance officer for GE Oil & Gas Asia Pacific, Sabrina’s main task is addressingintegrity concerns and cases not only from Greater China, but also those in Australia, NewZealand and India. As a leader, Sabrina rarely has a moment to herself, but she enjoys thefast-paced work environment at GE.
