4-005 Machine’s (Combipress) Functions
Vertical Combipress
By pressing the start button of the vertical bore head, the pneumatic electric transformer activates the motor.
When the button released or when the boring depth is reached, the vertical bore head returns to its original
starting position and the motor idles. The idling time can be adjusted (see illustration 4-002-01 and 4-005-02),
but the time must be long enough to ensure that the drill is securely out of the bore hole before the motor turns
off. The operating speed must be set with the throttle screw ( see illustration 4-005-05).
Horizontal Combipress
4. MASCHINENTEILE BESCHREIBUNG
By pressing the start button of the horizontal bore head, the pneumatic electric transformer activates the
motor. When the button is released, the bore head returns immediately to its original starting position.
The motor idles for about 2 seconds more. The idling time on the electronic switch box is adjustable by
means of the throttle ( see illustration 4-005-01 ), but the time must be long enough to ensure that the
drill is securely out of the bore hole. The forward feeding speed of the horizontal bore head is set by the
throttle (illustration 4-005-05).
