A lethaldose can be ingested as only part of a single day‘s food intake – multiplefeeding is not usually necessary. Symptoms do not normally occur forseveral days, so bait shyness would not be expected. As multiple feedingis not usually, ‚Klerat‘ can be used most economically and safely whensmall quantities are applied with an interval inbetween application. Theresistance status of the target population should be taken into accountwhen considering the choice of rodenticide to be used.DIRECTION FOR USEPlace bait in bait boxes or others suitable containers inside infestedbuildings. Assess the degree of infestation, look for dropping, holes, gnawmarks and tracks, then position bait in areas where rodents are active.Use the higher application rate where rats and mice are numerous and laybaits at the denser spacing i. e. every 5 metres for rats and every2 metres for mice.Rats generally feed in sheltered positions in surroundings with which theyhave become familiar. Lay bait along defi ned runs, near walls or whererats are feeding.
