To All Independent School Athletic Directors, coaches, and past participants:April, 2013The 28th Pippy O’Connor Independent School Girls’ Golf Tournament will beheld on Monday, May 13th at Blue Hill Country Club, Canton MAThe 18-Hole Division will play a SHOT GUN starting at 10:00 am Limited to 60players. The 9-Hole Division will play a SHOT GUN starting at 11:00 am Limited to 40players. Coaches will shuttle players out to the holes. Players and coaches areencouraged to arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 am to register and warm-up. The drivingrange and putting area will be available to participants. Play from the RED tees.Blue Hill Country Club is a challenging championship course, therefore we askthat the 18-hole participants be capable of breaking 110 and 9-hole participants becapable of breaking 65.I have enclosed an entry form, hoping that your school might be interested insending a player or players to our tournament this year. I would encourage experiencedgolfers to attend even though your school might not have a formal girls’ golf program.Entries will close Friday, May 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM. The maximum number ofplayers from each school is limited to a total of 8 participants. If a team has more playersinterested in playing they will be put on a waiting list.There will be no rain date. Cost $55.00 per player.Gross prizes will be awarded to both the 9 and 18 hole division winners. Inaddition, there will also be an overall Gross prize to the school team which shoots thecombined lowest score in the 18 hole division. The lowest four scores constitute a“Team”.
