Giuditta ran off for first place with OTTaris San Peppy, a stallion by Taris Valentine, which she bought fromthe Toscani breeding facility, Appaloosa Srl, this past June. The horsewas trained by Riccardo Landi and since the Foti's have bought himhas been in training with Adriano Meacci."This is simply wonderful" said Giuditta after her run, "I was reallynervous before the finals and I didn't think I would make it to the middleof the pen!" Giuditta, who detains the primate of youngest rider to winthe Italian Non Pro Derby, is no new comer to the show pen even thoughseven years have gone by since she last showed in the Italian Futurity.With a score of 211.5, Matteo Arcese placed Arc Tassas First (SurpriseEnterprise x Tassas Little Peppy) fourth in the Non Pro Futurity. Thisgelding was trained by Paolo Orlandini, head trainer of Arcese Q.H.,who also placed the horse 6th in his first outing, the German OpenBreeders Futurity.Fifith place in both the Non Pro divisions went to Emilian Ferro astridehis mare, Jakyta Pride (Pepper Pride x Miss Jac Eighty Six) with ascore of 211. Emiliano had obtained a composite score of 427 thustaking the lead of the Limited Non Pro division with Giovanni Serblinafter the two go rounds.
