After taking home the OpenSBH German Futurity Champion title with Golden Dry Doc Jac,Rudy won the Italian Limited Open Futurity astride Don't MissThe Slide (Jacs On Top x Miss N Muffet) owned by the PaybackPartners with a score of 217.5, stallion with which he had placedthird in the German SBH Open Futurity itself."He hasn't changed much since Germany", says the Austrian trainer,"but winning here surprised me. I guess in a way I was just a luckyguy as the riders before me had mistakes in their rides." He's an awesome horse and is really quiet; he walksinto the arena as if he is walking into the barn! Tonight could havegone better if I had trusted him more, so the mistakes that weremade were my fault. The youth riders from Puglia showed theirabilities to their best and it was Milena Mastropierro, a 13 year oldstudent from Terlizzi near Bari, that won the class with a score of 210.5.Milena rides with trainer Eugenio Latorre and was seen riding Cb DryCatalyst, a bay horse by Snapper Cal Bar out of Centennial Catalystwho had been trained by Francesco Arrighi.Great Cody, and tying for fourth were Daniele Salvalaggio, - fromLombardia - riding Bimbo Flower Otoe and Barbara Braun with VanBar Five.
