Installation Instructions1.Make sure the bike is completely cool before startingthe installation. Make sure the bike is secure on acenterstand or ideally a service lift.6.Remove swingarm pivot bolt. Remove swingarm fromframe.V.A.L.E. You MUST use theRaceTech (022-6-09) or Marzocchi (022-6-54) <strong>Extended</strong>shock with this swingarm.7.Insert supplied bushings into receivers in pivot end ofnew swingarm.3.Remove seat. Remove gas tank attachment bolt andslide tank forward to expose top shock mounting bolt.4.Remove upper & lower shock mounting bolts.8.Slide a supplied pivot bolt spacer (tapered end out)onto the OEM pivot bolt. Attach swingarm to frameby sliding pivot bolt through attachment points onswingarm and frame. Place second supplied spaceronto pivot bolt (tapered end out). Secure with OEMpivot bolt nut and tighten firmly.Parts ListQty. Installation Instructions13.Secure reservoir to frame with supplied band clampsas shown, making sure that the supplied black rubbermounts are in place. Tighten clamps securely.19.Make sure shock has clearance to move freely aroundthe lower shock pivot area.<strong>Two</strong> <strong>Brothers</strong> <strong>Racing</strong>KLX/DR-Z110 <strong>Extended</strong> <strong>Swingarm</strong>For use with extended shock.Part # 022-6-36BWContinued from page 1.Slide extended shock into place and secure upper endwith OEM bolt and nut.14.Slide left side tensioner onto axle. Place rear wheelin swingarm and slide rear axle through rear wheel.Place right side tensioner onto axle and secure withaxle nut. Loosely tighten for now.20.Cut OEM brake rod spring to the length of the threadedsection of brake rod extender, place on brake rodassembly and attach brake rod assembly to brakeactuator arm.15.Attach brake rod adjuster to swingarm’s mounting tab.10.Secure lower end of extended shock to swingarm.11.12.Tighten both upper and lower shock mounting boltssecurely.Bring reservoir between frame and shock.16.Attach brake cable to brake lever arm. In order toaccommodate the difference between the originalswingarm and the new one, it may be necessary toadjust the angle of the brake lever arm. This is doneby loosening the brake arm retaining bolt, slipping thearm off of the toothed spindle and position the arm atthe correct angle. When the brake arm is in the properposition, tighten the brake arm retaining bolt.21.Re-attach gas tank and seat. Double check to make surethat all hardware is properly installed and tightened.17.Properly tension chain, tighten tensioning hardwareand axle nut.18.Double check your work to make sure that all hardwareis properly tightened.
