Methodist University hasa passion for excellence that spills over into the quality of thehealth care professionals who graduate each year.A key reason for our continued success is the review sessionthat each student attends prior to taking the Physician AssistantNational Certification Examination (PANCE). This reviewhelps ensures that each student is prepared for theexam. Fund raisers such as this golf tournament will helpthe students in Methodist University’s Physician AssistantProgram attend a review for their national certificationexam.Most importantly, this year’s golf tournament will also helpbenefit The Care Clinic of Fayetteville. The Care Clinic is afree treatment center that provides medical care to low incomeand uninsured residents of Cumberland County. It firstopened its doors in 1993 and operates under four majorprinciples: Compassion, Assistance, Referral, and Education,all of which are vital components of healthcare today.MUPAP maintains a commitment to better healthcareand excellence. Did you know…presents3rd Annual GolfTournamentFriday, May 4th, 2012the Methodist University PA Program (MUPAP) boastsa 97% overall pass rate on the PANCE.The Class of 2011 had 5 maximum scores on thePANCE, which has never been achieved in the history ofthe program.MU is one of the only PA Programs to offer a full cadaverlab, reserved strictly for PA Students.The MUPAP receives over 450 applications a year for 40seats.The MUPAP just recently open the doors to a full AnatomyLab and 168 seat Medical Lecture Hall.Gates Four Golf andCountry ClubFayetteville, NC
